HAVARTI CHEESE CUPS
These are great appetizers but they also dress up a salad! 2 ounces cream cheese, softened 1/4 cup shredded Havarti cheese 2 teaspoons dill (or get flavored Havarti and omit this item) 12 1 - 2 inch pre baked pastry cups (phyllo shells) In a medium mixing bowl beat cream cheese and the Havarti cheese together using an electric mixer till combined. Fill each pastry cup with about one teaspoon of cheese filling. Place filled cups on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake in 350 degree oven for 5 to 7 minutes or till hot and cheese has softened. Serve warm. Makes 12 cups. To make ahead: After filling cups with cheese, cover and refrigerate till serving time. Bake in 400 degree oven about 5 to 7 minutes or till hot and cheese has softened.
