HOSPITAL MUFFINS
5 1/2 cups white flour 2 1/2 cups sugar 3 cups natural bran 2 cups Allbran cereal 1 quart buttermilk 3 Tablespoons baking soda 1 1/2 cups cooking oil 4 eggs 1/2 cup molasses 2 cups raisins (boil in water for 5 min. - drain water) Mix the 1st 4 dry ingredients together. In a LARGE bowl, pour the buttermilk. Add the baking soda. Stir. Mix the oil, eggs and molasses together and add to buttermilk. Add the raisins. Add the dry ingredients. Mix well. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 20 minutes. Makes 40 LARGE muffins. Submitted by Catherine from WDH |
