PUMPKIN SCONES 2 ounces margarine ¼ cup sugar 1 egg 1 cup mashed pumpkin ½ cup milk 2 ½ cups self-rising flour Cream margarine and sugar, beat in egg and add mashed pumpkin. Add milk, mix, then fold in self-rising flour. Knead lightly and cook in a hot oven till golden brown on top (about 15 min). Eat while still warm. Great with a cup of tea! From Narelle |
