SOUR CREAM COFFEE CAKE Topping: 1/2 cup chopped nuts 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 cup brown sugar Batter: Cream 1/2 cup margarine. Add 1 cup white sugar - mix. Add 1 cup sour cream. Sift 2 cups flour, 1 tsp. soda, 1 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. salt. Add to batter and mix until ingredients are wet only. Place 1/2 batter in greased bundt or angel food pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 of topping. Add remaining batter and rest of topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Source: Constance Dickson Catherine |
