FRENCH TOAST COFFEE CAKE


1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons corn syrup
5 eggs
1 1/2 cup half and half
vanilla or grand marnier
French Bread or Challah bread (with crust removed)


Heat butter, brown sugar and corn syrup. Pour on bottom of casserole pan. Layer the bread. Mix the eggs, half and half and vanilla or grand marnier and pour over the casserole. Cook at 350 for 35 to 45 minutes. Flip out onto cookie sheet. This recipe can be prepared the night before and stored in the refrigerator until morning and then baked.
