PICNIC CAKE

2 sticks butter
4 TBSP cocoa powder
1 cup water
2 cup sugar
2 cup flour
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs

Bring butter to boil. Add cocoa and water, stir well. Add to bowl with flour and sugar. Add buttermilk, baking soda, vanilla and eggs. Mix well. Pour into a long or sheet cake pan. Bake 25-30 minutes at 350. (Don't over bake.) The cake should be moist.

Picnic Cake Icing
1 stick butter
4 TBSP cocoa powder
6 TBSP milk
1 box white powdered sugar
1/2 cup pecans - optional

Boil butter, cocoa and milk. Add powdered sugar, a little at a time. Beat till smooth & creamy. Add nuts. Make holes in the cake with a fork, then pour the icing on and spread. This is for real chocolate lovers. Men really like this one with a big glass of milk.
