AUSSIE CHOCOLATE SLICE Place in a bowl 1 cup of self-rising flour 1 cup coconut 1/2 cup of sugar 1 tablespoon of cocoa Mix together. Melt 6oz margarine and then add 1 teaspoon vanilla essence and add to dry ingredients. Mix well and add 1 egg. Mix again. Press into a lamington tin and cook in a moderate oven for 20 min. Ice when cool. Icing : Add 1 1/2 cups icing sugar mixture and 1 tablespoon cocoa to 1 oz melted butter and 2 TBSP hot water. Beat till smooth and ice immediately. Sprinkle with coconut. From Narelle |
