CINNAMON BROWNIES 3/4 cup cocoa 1/2 tsp. Baking Soda 2/3 cup butter or margarine, melted & divided in 2 1/2 cup boiling water 2 cup sugar 2 eggs, beaten 1 tsp. vanilla 1 1/3 cup flour 1 1/2-2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. salt 1 cup chocolate chips Combine cocoa and Baking Soda. Blend in 1/3 cup melted butter. Add boiling water, stirring until thickened. Stir in sugar, eggs, vanilla and remaining 1/3 cup butter. Add flour, cinnamon, and salt. Fold in chocolate chips. Pour into greased 13" x 9" pan. Bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Ice. From Catherine |
