PECAN CANDIES

1 egg white
� stick margarine
1 TBSP. water
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
food coloring

Cream margarine until soft and smooth. Beat egg white until foamy. Add
egg white to margarine and add a portion of sugar, beating until smooth.
Alternately add water, vanilla, color, and then more sugar. Continue
until all sugar is used and mixture forms a soft ball. Kneed with hands
and make small balls the size of a dime. Press a ball between two pecan
halves. Keep in an airtight container until serving. (This makes quite a
lot. You may want to half this recipe. I divide the dough into two bowls
and add two different food colors to have a variety � i.e. red and
green)
