CHICAGO CRUNCHY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

3 1/2 cups flour
3 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup margarine
2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp. milk
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup cornflakes (slightly crushed)
1 cup instant oats
12-16 oz. chocolate chips

Mix flour, baking soda and salt. In a separate bowl beat butter, margarine, sugar, egg, milk and vanilla until well blended. Stir in flour mixture alternately with oil. Stir in corn flakes, oats, and chips.

Bake at 350F for 12 minutes. Makes 96 cookies.
