CORN CHOWDER
1 1/2 c. chopped ham 1 medium onion (minced) 1/2 c. chopped celery (some tops) 2 potatoes (cubed) Cook above ingredients until tender. (Makes its own moisture) Mash potatoes slightly. Add 1 can of creamed corn and 4 cups of milk, salt and pepper to taste, and about a tbsp. of parsley flakes. Mix 2 tbsp. of flour with a little water and add that. Heat thoroughly and serve. I usually serve it with crusty bread and a tossed salad. Pam |
