HOME MADE VANILLA EXTRACT
1 pint Vodka (don't go cheap on this) Several Vanilla Beans Slice open the vanilla beans and place in the bottle of vodka, allowing the vanilla to release its flavors. As you use the vanilla you can refill bottle with Vodka and add vanilla beans as needed. You'll be able to tell by the color when it's time to refill with beans. Source: Martha Stewart Andrea |
