BEST SWEET POTATO EVER

2 cans (2 lbs.) yams, drained and mashed
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup melted butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 cup milk

Topping:
1/3 cup melted butter
1 cup light brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup flour
1 cup chopped pecans

Beat the first six ingredients together with mixer until fluffy. Spread evenly in bottom of a 13 x 9 inch pan. For the topping, melt butter and add rest of ingredients, mixing well. Using fingers, crumble over top of sweet potato mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Note: This topping is SO good I make one and a half times the recipe!

Serve warm. Mmmmmmm!
